Hazel Robinson is a third generation Californian with a background in farming and art.
Marriage and raising a family happened right alongside of her art education as she went to college and majored in art. Education has been a continuing project. The latest of her schooling took place when she was seventy two.
Her major passion in art has, in the past, been working with clay and she and her husband made a living as potters for over twenty years, but her most recent classes consisted of life drawing and painting. "Painting is much easier on my aging back and hands and it is almost as much fun as mud is."
The paintings shown here include two watercolors and one oil painting. They are part of a collection of her paintings which are currently available at Timberline Gallery in Oakhurst, California.
