Suzanne was introduced to the world of art when she was about 8 years old by her mother, Alma, who was a professional artist and illustrator. Since then Suzanne majored in art in collage and has studied with several well known artists including Gary Langdon Jerome Grimmer.

Suzanneís oil and acrylic paintings bring the viewer along, through her eyes, on a journey of the majesty of nature which abounds in the Yosemite area.

Her watercolors are a combination of design and spontaneous creativity. She uses the fluidity of colors meandering across the paper to suggest magical floral shapes and molds these shapes into floral designs.

Suzanne's paintings hang in private collections throughout the United States, Hawaii and the Far East. She has won numerous awards for her paintings. She enjoys painting florals, landscapes and still lifes, and has done murals for businesses and homes. Suzanne is the Secretary of the Yosemite Western Artists in Oakhuarst.
